In short: King Media is a push-to-talk calling app. We store your login (email, password), the room you're assigned to, and basic call-quality numbers, so calls connect and stay clear.
Your microphone only sends audio while you're actually talking. Call recordings stay on your phone — we never upload them. We don't run ads, we don't have trackers, and we don't sell anything to anyone.
What we collect
Only what's needed to log you in and run a call.
- Account details — the email and password you sign in with.
- Device info — a device ID, device name, and platform, so your account stays tied to your phone. This is how we stop someone else from logging in as you from a different device.
- Room and role — which room you join and whether you're set up as a host or a participant. This comes from whoever manages your account, not from you.
- Call audio, live — your microphone is only on while you're pressing talk. That audio goes to the other people on the call, the same way a phone call works.
- Call quality numbers — connection speed, delay, and drop rate. We use this to spot bad connections, not to listen to anything.
What stays on your phone
If a call is recorded, that recording is saved locally on your device only. We don't receive a copy and it isn't uploaded anywhere unless you choose to share the file yourself.
Permissions the app asks for

We don't ask for your contacts, location, camera, or photos. The app doesn't need them and doesn't request them.
Who can see your data
- Whoever manages your team's rooms can see your name, your role, and which room you're in — the same way a call log works in any workplace tool.
- King Media's operators can see your account and connection-quality logs, only to fix problems or help with support.
- Nobody else. No ad networks, no analytics companies, no data brokers.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no ad tracking.
- No selling or renting your data to anyone.
- No reading your recordings — they never leave your device.
- No access to contacts, location, camera, or your photo library.
Deleting your data
Email us and ask. We'll close your account and remove your stored details. Anything already saved only on your own phone — like recordings — is yours to delete any time from your device.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly change what we collect without updating this first.
